Spain Advances in Hydrogen Economy with Multi-Company Valley Projects Backed by 1.2 Billion Euros in EU Funds
Spain is set to significantly boost its hydrogen economy, with the Ministry for Ecological Transition approving a broad slate of projects aimed at establishing extensive hydrogen valleys across the country. A total of 16 projects have been accepted to share 1.2 billion euros from the NextGenEU funds, with disbursements expected by March 2025. This initiative encompasses all submitted projects, emphasizing Spain's commitment to transitioning to a hydrogen-based energy infrastructure.
