PowerCell Sweden secures first marine methanol-to-power system order

Swedish fuel cell technology developer PowerCell Sweden AB (Powercell) has announced that it has received a groundbreaking first order for its M2Power 250 system from a leading European shipyard valued at SEK 150 million (≈ EUR 13.8 million). This milestone marks the first commercial sale of a fully integrated methanol-to-power solution, an innovative technology launched in Q3 2024.
