Sungrow partners with Merit SI for cybersecurity in North America

China-based inverter and BESS firm Sungrow has partnered with grid integration solutions firm Merit SI Technologies to deliver controls and cybersecurity for projects in North America. The two companies have formed a non-exclusive partnership which will see them combine Merit’s locally-made energy management system (EMS), SCADA and network expertise with Sungrow’s battery energy storage system (BESS) technology.
